Data Collection and Use

Our applications are designed with your privacy in mind. Here's what you need to know:

What We Collect

• Local Poet: Your projects, lyrics, and poet personas are stored locally on your device. Optional iCloud syncing allows your data to sync across your Apple devices. Creative prompts (genre, theme, style, and in-game text) are sent to AI services to generate lyric suggestions and images.
• Mixtape Pinball: All game data is stored locally on your device. No personal information is collected or transmitted.
• Quiet Appreciation: Your daily reflections and progress are stored locally on your device only.
• Conversational Apps (Dale, Merv, Pannu): Conversations may be stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud if you enable this feature. We do not access or store your conversations on our servers.

Third-Party Services

Some of our applications may use the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Anthropic Claude API: Local Poet uses Anthropic's Claude to generate lyric suggestions, poet personas, and creative responses. Your prompts are processed to generate responses but are not retained for training purposes.
• Replicate API: Local Poet uses Replicate to generate optional poet portrait images. Text descriptions are sent to generate images but are not retained for training purposes.
• OpenAI/Anthropic APIs: Conversational apps may use AI services to generate responses. These services process your messages to provide responses but do not retain your data for training purposes when accessed through our apps.

Data Storage

All personal data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud account, which is encrypted and controlled by you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account.

Children's Privacy

Our applications are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your device
• You control your iCloud data through your Apple ID settings
• No data is retained by Pipchi Productions after you delete the app
